Commercial Package Insurance

Usually covered under an Office Package policy, the following sections will be included:

  • Employers Liability
    This is a legal requirement for all companies employing staff and covers your legal liability to pay compensation to employees for bodily injury, illness or disease arising from business activities.

  • Public Liability
    This should be considered a high priority and covers your legal liability to pay compensation for bodily injury, illness or disease (other than to employees) for loss of or damage to third party property arising from your ownership of the buildings.

  • Products Liability
    This should be considered a high priority and covers your legal liability for bodily injury, illness or disease or loss or damage to third party property arising from products sold or supplied.

  • Property Insurance (including Contents / Office Equipment)
    This should also be considered a high priority and covers your buildings, stock and contents against loss or damage as a result of fire, theft, or a range of other perils. The policy can often be extended to include "accidental damage" cover and also cover for items temporarily removed from the insured premises.

  • Loss of Revenue
    This section provides cover against loss of revenue and additional costs of working, following loss or damage at the insured premises.

  • Commercial Legal Expenses
    This covers the legal costs which may be incurred in defending or mounting an action relating to your business activities.

  • Motor insurance
    This is a legal requirement for companies operating motor vehicles and covers third party liability arising from operation of a motor vehicle and can be extended to include fire, theft and accidental damage

  • Motor Legal Expenses
    This covers legal costs incurred in pursuing a third party for "uninsured losses" (policy excess and/or car- hire charges) following a non-fault motor accident.

  • Group Personal Accident and Sickness
    Provides death, injury and disablement benefits for employees/principals following an accident or illness.

  • Group Medical Insurance
    Provides employees/principals with access to private medical treatment in the event of illness.
